Experience the magic of the big screen alongside fellow cinephiles and keep your eyes peeled—you might even spot a few stars in the audience!

For those with a soft spot for short films, there is a special programme you absolutely cannot miss: " Constellations of Queer Memory: 40 Years of the TEDDY in the Short Film Form. " Visitors will have the chance to enjoy a vibrant potpourri of the best short films from the last forty years. We highly recommend this cinematic journey through time!

Additionally, don’t miss the event " Wild at Heart: Rooms That Became Revolutions ." Discover how the TEDDY AWARD originated in the Prinz Eisenherz bookstore and evolved into a bold cultural intervention that revolutionized queer cinema. Contemporary witnesses look back on the wild formative years defined by political resistance, club culture, and the rise of New Queer Cinema.

Beyond the premieres, there are plenty of other gems to discover: take the opportunity to catch many films in their reruns, or dive into the TEDDY 40 special programme. The official Berlinale Retrospective also features outstanding queer film classics this year that are well worth a watch.
