On the 27th of August TEDDY Award presents an open-air screening of the film WOLF AND DOG (Lobo e Cão) (OmEU) by Cláudia Varejão. A wonderful, queer comin-of-age summer film, told in powerful images shot on 16 mm.

Wonderful, queer coming‑of‑age summer cinema set against the dazzling natural backdrop of the Azores: a story of liberation amid the search for identity, family ties, and local traditions. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Ana and her circle of friends try to find their own paths, carving out space for themselves within their defiantly open queer community on the Portuguese island — a glimpse that countless tourists rarely get to see.

The film was awarded the Best Director Prize in the Giornate degli Autori section at the Venice International Film Festival.
