Ebow on the TEDDY AWARD Stage

EBOW

We’re very happy that Ebow is performing at the TEDDY AWARD!
Her voice, her attitude, and her music perfectly capture the spirit of queer visibility and empowerment we celebrate.

With four albums released to date, Ebow has long established herself as one of the most important voices in German rap, delivering more than a few anthems for the politically conscious among Millennials and Gen Z. “She writes politically correct and grammatically incorrect lyrics about misogyny in her own scene and xenophobia in her country,” Die ZEIT once put it. On her album FC CHAYA, released on September 27, Ebow focuses entirely on the LGBTQIA+ community, presenting queer love songs unlike anything previously heard in Germany. Sonically, the record moves between indie rock influences, R&B, and Y2K-era cloud rap aesthetics. In turbulent times, she seems to remind us, no message matters more than love itself.
