About us

After 10 years of TEDDY history, the foundation Förderverein TEDDY e.V. was founded in February 1997 to support the TEDDY AWARD and promote queer film productions and filmmakers throughout the year.
The non-profit foundation is financed by donations from the Friends of the TEDDY, as well as contributions from partners and supporters, and lives through the commitment of many volunteers and support of the performing artists.
